Performances
Every performance of True Story Theater is unique. We help audience members describe important moments from their lives, and then we reflect back the essence of these stories through movement, music, and dialogue. We use only the simplest of props - colored scarves and a few instruments - to create shows that are humorous, fun, profound, and full of fresh insight.
The form of theater we use, called "Playback," developed 30 years ago, is now used in over 50 countries. Playback Theatre is a powerful way to celebrate commonalities, to build bridges across differences, and to honor the magic in everyday life.
