Our work can serve you in a number of different ways:
Team-building
- To support staff, Board members, or volunteers (e.g., The Datasys Corporation brought us in for a team-building event for employees).
- To help ease an organizational transition (e.g., A minister brought us in when he was leaving the church to help the congregation deal with their feelings of loss).
Diversity
- To strengthen a training (e.g., At a training on sexual orientation discrimination for federal employees we followed an analytical presentation with a session to bring out heart-felt stories.)
- To promote greater understanding and respect across differences (e.g., We worked with teen leaders to enable them to quickly and viscerally learn about each other's backgrounds.)
Conferences and events
- For the opening, to help people get energized, reflect on their goals, start to get to know each other.
- For the closing, to help people reflect on their important learnings and what they take away from the event.
- In the middle, once people have warmed up to being together, to help people go deeper with each other and with the themes of the event.
Celebrations
- To honor special individuals or a community. (e.g., We perfomed for the Central Congregational Church in Boston, to celebrate their 150th anniversary; for an extended family, the day before a wedding).
Training
- Giving people in an organization creative tools to add to add to their communication skills and greatly enliven their presentations. (e.g., We taught members of the Healing Story Alliance network how to increase their interaction with audiences.)
