Using interactive theater and other methods of experiential education, we can help your group members hear each other in new ways, practice essential skills of listening and conflict-resolution, and learn creative tools to bring greater joy into everyday life.

Playshops
When you come to a playshop, you will experience for yourself the magic and power of communicating through theatre. You will learn the basic structures and principles of Playback, and practice ways to listen deeply and to dramatically communicate the essential truth of stories using words, movement, and music.
Even if you have done acting or Playback, you can do this! Playshops are supportive, fun, and engaging.

Note that Playshops, run by members of True Story Theater, are typically 3-4 hours long, although we can do customized trainings that are presented in a series or in or weekend. For more extensive training in Playback, see the School of Playback Theater.
